Child Audition for Musical "Fiddler on the Roof"
Auditions for children for the musical "Fiddler on the Roof". Please see the details below. ONLY LOCAL TALENT WILL BE ACCEPTED. About the project: Fiddler on the Roof has endured the test of time, due to its strong themes of family, tradition, and the difficulty of love. Each character is unique and has multiple layers. Tevye is both loud and stubborn, and a soft-hearted girl dad. Golde keeps control of a big household, while at the same time being soft enough to mother well. Each girl has a strong independence while also trying to protect the tradition they were raised in. These thoughts should be well considered when auditioning for Fiddler. The production team seeks to see depth of character above all else. Additional info: Show Dates: November 8th-17th Dance: Should have a basic knowledge of dance and movement. No formal dance audition.
