Kid Performers Needed for Audition "Diary of a Wimpy Kid"
Searching for kids between the ages of 8 and 18 for "Diary of a Wimpy Kid". Please see the details below. About the project: Middle school, ugh. It’s the worst. But Greg is determined not to be at the bottom of the popularity chart. He’ll leave that to his weird neighbor, Fregley. Or maybe Greg’s best friend, Rowley Jefferson. But it’s not going to be Greg…no way. Additional info: Auditions will consist of a monologue, song, and dance portion. You will learn the dance at auditions but should have your monologue and song learned and memorized before auditions. Monologues and songs for auditions are from the show and attached. Please choose only one monologue and one song from the options to perform! There will be an optional (but encouraged!) audition workshop held at the rehearsal hall on March 2 at 10:30 AM where you can learn the audition dance ahead of time, be able to practice your songs with an accompanist, and work your monologues in groups. This workshop is designed to alleviate some of the stress that goes with auditioning and also to ensure that anyone who wishes will have the resources to feel prepared for their audition.
