Casting Kids for a Senior Thesis Film "Dandelion Dreams"
Logline: At 12-year-old Anne’s first-ever sleepover, she and her new friends discover they’ve been allowing boys to impact how they view themselves and each other. Through this discovery, the pre-teen girls discover the true value of their love for one another. Unpaid Shooting March 21-25 in Greenwich Village and Rockaway Beach After school in Greenwich Village on March 25 12-8 or 10-6 on Rockaway Beach March 23-24 Weekend shoot days will be 8-hour days, and weekdays will be 3-5 hours. Playing age (10-12), Because of Anne's parents, she has not been to a sleepover before. Anne is extremely intelligent and a big reader, with a big personality and big feelings. She is outgoing and opinionated and brightens any room she walks into. She feels a deep connection to the characters in the books she reads and has developed a deep connection and friendship with her best friend, Harsha.
Playing age (10-12), Harsha is a bubbly, fun, and loving girl who loves hanging out with her friends. She is Anne's best friend, and the two claim to understand each other better than anyone else. Harsha hosts the sleepover.
Playing age (10-12), Dyanna is the "girly girl" of the group; she loves make-up, fashion, pink, bows, and anything sparkly. She is best friends with Camila, who likes the same boy as Dyanna. While stubborn, Dyanna cares about her friends and will only be mad at them for a while before making up.
Playing age (10-12), Camila, or Cam, is the glue of the friend group; she is a dancer and loves to choreograph routines for the girls. She's creative, confident, and can stand up for herself. She is Dyanna's best friend and a close friend of Harsha.
