Casting Call for The Gang on Douglass Street
Casting for a feature film entitled "gOds Unwritten" which will be filmed in the New York City area. "gOds Unwritten" is a satirical dramedy, in the spirit of Stand By Me, and The Little Rascals, Our Gang Series. After production, the film will be submitted to various festivals, nationally and internationally. A private Red Carpet Screening will be held for the Cast and Crew and their friends and family once the film's post-production is complete.

Ace: 14-15yr old Hispanic boy. Confident, short, Napoleon Complex. Self-imposed leader with actual leadership characteristics. Uses words out of context. Known amongst the gang to mispronounce and misuse words.
Madison: 14-15yr old White girl, possibly racially ambiguous. Sandy or Red colored hair, wears ponytail. Not concerned with stylish clothes. A fighter. Tom boy type. Doesn't back down from anyone in the almost all male group of friends.
JB: 14-15yr old. Dark skin. glasses, loves to read. Wears a baseball cap. Neo-Nerd-like, somewhat self-conscious, self-aware. A tad shorter than Madison.
Pretty Boy Troy: 16 yr old Ladies man, good looking, dark brown skin. Humorously clueless. Confident, athletic, self-consumed arrogant but loveable.
Manuel: 14-15yr old. Likeable at first sight. Quiet, shy, still water run deep type of kid. Smart untapped potential skills and wisdom. Speech impediment (stutter). The Darkhorse of the gang.
7-9yr old. Ace’s little brother. Cute, troublemaker. Main subject of the story.
