Teens Needed for "Into The Woods" Show

Searching for actors ages 15 and above to audition for "Into The Woods" Show. Please see the details below. ONLY LOCAL TALENT WILL BE ACCEPTED. About the project: James Lapine and Stephen Sondheim intertwine the plots of the Brothers Grimm fairy tales in this Tony Award-winning musical. Follow a baker and his wife who wish to have a child, Cinderella who longs to attend the King's Festival, and Jack who wishes his cow would give milk. When the baker and his wife learn of a witch's curse that prevents them from having a child, they embark on a journey filled with twists and turns to break the curse. This dark, humorous musical explores the consequences of wishes coming true. Additional info: Actors should prepare a 32-bar cut of a traditional musical theatre selection. NO POP MUSICALS (i.e., Mean Girls, Moulin Rouge, Jagged Little Pill, etc.) It is strongly encouraged that auditioners do not select a piece from “INTO THE WOODS”. There will be an accompanist available. Please bring sheet music. There will be cold reads at auditions following singing. Callbacks on December 14, 2023, 6-9 PM.
