LuísMale8-11 y.o.Latino / Hispanic

LUÍS (LEAD) is a sensitive, creative Mexican American boy of 10 years with a penchant for wry humor. He often astounds his parents with his emotional intelligence. He is loved and adored by his parents and because of them he has learned to love his cultural traditions. He also knows he is a queer child and that he loves Óscar. He's trying to find his way in a world that doesn’t quite fully accept LGBTQ children. BILINGUAL. (Spanish can sound more on the Chicano/1st Gen side.)

ÓscarMale8-11 y.o.Latino / Hispanic

ÓSCAR (SUPPORTING LEAD) is an undocumented immigrant, queer Latine boy of 10 years who is charming, and tends to be on the quieter side. Despite his reserve, he is very strong-willed and is not one to ever be bullied. In fact, he is Luís’ protector. He loves Luís, and around him Óscar is often mischievous and playful. Because Óscar’s mom has always accepted him and protected his soft nature, he doesn’t have any complexes. FULLY BILINGUAL. (Spanish is his native language.)
