Casting teenagers for the show "Spring Awakening." Please refer to the details below for more information. ONLY LOCAL TALENT WILL BE ACCEPTED. Additional info: Callbacks: Sunday, November 26th, by invite. Rehearsals: Mondays & Wednesdays, 7:00-9:00 p.m., & Saturdays, 12:00-6:00 p.m., 11/27-3/9. Tech/Dress: Daily, 3/11-3/21 Performances: Friday, 3/22 @7pm, Saturday, 3/23 @2pm & 7pm, Sunday, 3/34 @ 2pm Auditions are open to anyone ages 16+. To audition, please prepare the following: A 32-64 bar cut of a song in the style of the show with a backing track. Actors may be asked to read from the script. Please see the attachment for details. A confrontational school girl and Wendla’s best friend. Outwardly believes the adults but secretly questions the blind faith demanded of her. Does not want to rock the boat. Mistrusts Hanschen. Vocal range: E3-E5
A rather narcissistic schoolmate of Melchior's. Like Melchior, he also appears to be very intelligent, but uses his knowledge in favor of the system. Doubles as RUPERT. Vocal range: Ab2-D5
A German schoolgirl and Martha's best friend. She is more aware of injustice than the other girls and recognizes that what happens to Wendla is wrong. Has a secret crush on Martha. Vocal range: E3-C5
