"Emma" Show Needs Teenagers
Talents ages 12 and up are welcome to audition for the "Emma" Show. Please see the details below. ONLY LOCAL TALENT WILL BE ACCEPTED. Additional info: You will need to present a 60-second monologue showing emotional range and solid preparation. Do not READ a script – the monologue should be performed. Script “sides” will be provided for cold readings at the audition. Please be prepared to read dramatically, i.e., “in character”, incorporating appropriate emotion, inflection, and projection. These sides will not necessarily be for the character you want; we use a limited number of characters in the auditions to allow us to assess your best qualities. During the audition, the actor may be asked to read in several different ways, including playing someone who is older or younger than their true age. Currently scheduled for October 16 – 25, 2025. Location is the First United Methodist Church stage. There will be 4 evening (7:00 p.m.) public performances on October 16, 17, 18, and 24. The closing performance, on Saturday, October 25, will be a matinee performance at 2:00 p.m., on Tuesday, October 21, and Thursday, October 23. Note that a fee will be applied. Please see the attachment for details. If interested, please apply.
