Seeking Kids for Project "Lyrics for Life"

Audition for "Lyrics for Life". Seeking singers, dancers, and musicians ages 6+. Please see the details below. ONLY LOCAL TALENT WILL BE ACCEPTED. About the project: The event will feature a diverse lineup of talented young artists and musicians who will use the power of music to spread a message of hope, healing, and support. Attendees can expect powerful performances that aim to destigmatize mental health and encourage open conversations. Additional info: Show & Dress Rehearsal: Sunday, November 12, 2023 at Symphony Space In-Person Rehearsals: Friday, Nov 10th @ 5-8 pm & Sat, Nov 11th @ 12-4 pm at Ripley-Grier Studios (called for select dates/times) Remote Rehearsals: Oct 29 - Nov 9, 2023 (Zoom rehearsals will be held on select dates/times TBD) VIRTUAL AUDITION DETAILS 1. INTRO - Introduce yourself including your full name, age, where you are based, a few details about yourself and why you want to lend your talents to this production. This is the most important part of your submission, so please make sure you include it. 2. AUDITION - Showcase your talent! If you are interested in being considered for several categories (singer, dancer, musician, etc. please provide a video for each skill). This can be a self-tape, previously recorded, or from a live performance, as long as it's no more than 6 months old. 4. UPLOAD your video to YouTube or Vimeo and set as UNLISTED (not private!). 5. FILL OUT FORM on the website and submit by October 1, 2023. Late submissions will not be considered. If interested, please apply.
