About the project: Based on the best-selling book, “The Best Christmas Pageant Ever” follows the outrageous shenanigans of the Herdman siblings, or “the worst kids in the history of the world.” So no one is prepared when this outlaw family invades church one Sunday and decides to take over the annual Christmas pageant, which causes a lot of people to be up in arms. The end result, however, is one of the most unusual pageants anyone has seen and, just possibly, the best — as everyone discovers the true meaning of Christmas.
