"Holiday on Robinhood Lane" Seeks Teenagers

About the project: The Holiday on Robinhood Lane hopes to share the many things all love about this time of year. Memories of Home, the theme this year, will allow the cast and audience to remember together what they have experienced with the ones they love during this time of year. With an original script, Holiday will give you a glimpse of the memories and traditions that connect all. Featuring vocal performance, spoken word, movement, and more, Holiday on Robinhood Lane is a gift to our community. It is a celebration that is filled with joy, peace, and love. Directors hope to give each person involved a memory that they will cherish for a lifetime. Additional info: Parents of those aged 13-17 will need to sign the audition form but do not need to stay for auditions. will begin with open choreography auditions. All auditioners will learn a simple combination and perform it for our production staff. The dance audition will be done in small groups. Tappers: If you are interested in participating in the tap audition, please bring tap shoes! Following choreography auditions, we will hold closed vocal and reading auditions. Please prepare 16-32 bars of music (about 1-2 minutes) that shows off your vocal talent and is consistent with the theme of the show (holiday or seasonal music or music that reflects your family traditions). You are responsible for bringing your own sheet music. Please mark your music with clear start/stop points. You may sing a cappella but not with a backing or karaoke track. Immediately following your vocal audition, directors will ask you to read a provided side (the last page from the book The Polar Express).
