Young Talent Required for "Sammy" Film

About the project: The story revolves around Sammy, a 12-year-old living in poverty, left to his abusive stepfather's care after their mother's sudden passing. They live in a run-down house where most of the story takes place. After their mother's passing, the abuse became much worse. One night, after a violent clash between Sammy and his stepfather, Sammy ends up killing their step father. Scared and confused, Sammy struggles to know what to do next. After a few days, the putrid smell of the body becomes too much. Sammy snaps and runs to the street to find help. That's where they find Flynn, their nice neighbour and their mother's ex-boyfriend from high school. Sammy tells Flynn what happened and now Flynn must decide between helping Sammy and perhaps go to jail for murder if they get discovered, or call the cops and turn in a child who did what they did to survive an abusive situation.
