Looking for boys and girls ages 17+ for "The Man Who Came to Dinner". Please see the details below. ONLY LOCAL TALENT WILL BE ACCEPTED. About the project: The Man Who Came to Dinner is a classic screwball comedy, The play is set in the small town of Mesalia, Ohio in the weeks leading to Christmas in the late 1930s and involves famous radio personality, Sheridan Whiteside, slipping on a piece of ice on the doorstep of an Ohio family and having to spend 6 tumultuous weeks recuperating in their home. The cast of characters (see below) contains many opportunities for actors to strut their comedic chops by bringing these characters to life. Additional info: Callbacks will be Tuesday, Oct 3 from 7-9. Performance dates are November 3-5 and Nov 10-12 Auditions will consist of a cold reading from the play.
