Looking fo Boys & Girls "Elf, The Musical"

Looking to cast kids K through grade 12 for "Elf, The Musical". Please see the details below. ONLY LOCAL TALENT WILL BE ACCEPTED. Additional info: Based on the beloved holiday film, this hilarious fish-out-of-water comedy follows Buddy the Elf in his quest to find his true identity. Based on the cherished 2003 New Line Cinema hit, Elf. Buddy, a young orphan, mistakenly crawls into Santa's bag of gifts and is transported to the North Pole. The would-be elf is raised, unaware that he is actually a human until his enormous size and poor toy-making abilities cause him to face the truth. With Santa's permission, Buddy embarks on a journey to New York City to find his birth father and discover his true identity. Faced with the harsh realities that his father is on the naughty list and his half-brother doesn't even believe in Santa, Buddy is determined to win over his new family and help New York remember the true meaning of Christmas. Additional info: Complete an audition form at saltwaterpac.org/auditions, then prepare a short 45 sec. - 1 min. monologue and 32 bars of a song in the style of the show (not from the show) or a holiday song. Bring recorded accompaniment on a mobile device. FIVE PERFORMANCES: DECEMBER 14-17 REHEARSALS BEGIN OCTOBER 3: Mondays 7- 9 pm, Tuesdays 6 - 9 pm and alternating Fridays 6-9 pm or Saturdays 9a-12p or 1p-4p.
