"A Christmas Carol" Show Seeks Kids

Looking for an actor ages 8-12 for "A Christmas Carol" Show. Please see the details below. ONLY LOCAL TALENT WILL BE ACCEPTED. About the project: This charming version of A Christmas Carol simply and directly tells the story of the redemption of a human soul with humor and warmth (and a little bit of terror! Because of ghosts!) Adapted for a company of 6 actors accompanied by a fiddler and a quartet of cappella singers (who act as the soundtrack for the show), the play requires a minimum of sets, costumes, and props. Indeed, the theatricality of this approach and the imagination it requires of the audience is part of the fun (like when the actors become pieces of furniture)! Additional info: Callbacks (by invitation only) will be held Wednesday, September 27, at 7:00 pm. The audition hour will begin with the dance audition (think square dance moves), followed by singing/reading auditions. Please arrive at the beginning of the hour-long block you have signed up for.
