Looking for actors ages 8 and above for Irving Berlin’s "White Christmas". Please see the details below. About the project: This holiday season discover the perfect gift for everyone on your list! Start with a timeless tale of joy and goodwill, fill it with classic Irving Berlin songs, and top it off with glorious dancing and lots of snow! IRVING BERLIN’S WHITE CHRISTMAS tells the story of a song-and-dance team putting on a show in a magical Vermont inn and falling for a stunning sister act in the process. Full of dancing, laughter, and some of the greatest songs ever written! Give everyone the gift they’re dreaming of with this merry and bright holiday musical. Additional info: Callbacks (if needed): Tuesday, September 26, 2023, at 6:00 P.M. Please be prepared to: – Sing 16-20 bars of a musical theatre or holiday song of your choice. You must sing with our provided accompaniment, a CD with NO vocals, or with a device you provide. No acapella auditions will be allowed. – You may be asked to sing scales by the accompanist. – Complete a dance audition, taught by the show choreographer (dress appropriately) If you have intermediate to advanced level tap training, please bring tap shoes. – Read provided selections from the script. – Be prepared to fill out a conflict sheet at auditions (be as specific as possible about conflicts throughout the rehearsal period). Rehearsals will begin in October. Tech week will be from Saturday, November 25 through Thursday, November 30. No absences will be accepted during tech week or performances. Performances: December 1, 2, 8, 9, 15, 16, 2023 at 7:30 PM. December 2, 3, 9, 10, 16, 17, 2023 at 2:00 PM. Please make sure you can fully commit to the rehearsal period and performance schedule before auditioning. You must be willing to make the show a priority. If interested, please apply.

(Non-singing role) – A retired U.S. Army General, adjusting to returning to civilian life in post-World War II America. He is a man of great principle and dignity. Beneath his curmudgeonly military exterior lies a warm, compassionate man in need of family and love.

Once a Broadway star, now the General’s housekeeper at the Inn, Martha has a very dry, wry, wisecracking sense of humor.
