ONLY LOCAL TALENT WILL BE ACCEPTED. The musical revue “Music in the Park” is looking for singers ages 16+. Please, see the details below. Additional information: Performance Dates: Friday, August 25, 8pm. Saturday, August 26, 2pm and 8pm. Sunday, August 27, 2pm. Performances and Auditions will take place in Georgetown, Ontario. Prepare the best minute of two songs from musical theatre that are well suited to your strengths and that you love to sing. A pianist will be provided. Sheet music in your correct key is required. Please have it double-sided, hole punched and in a 3 ring binder. Alternately accompaniment tracks will be allowed, but only for audition purposes. Amplification will be provided with 3mm input for MP3 player, phone, etc. If needed you may bring your own bluetooth speaker. Due to time constraints, you will not get to sing your entire song, so if the best part is in the middle or end, prepare to start from just before it. Rehearsals begin July 18th. They will be held on Tuesday, Thursday, and Sunday evenings from 7-10pm. Check your schedule and calendars to ensure that you are able to commit to the rehearsals. If interested, please apply.
