About the project: THE ADDAMS FAMILY, a comical feast that embraces the wackiness in every family, features an original story and it’s every father’s nightmare: Wednesday Addams, the ultimate princess of darkness, has grown up and fallen in love with a sweet, smart young man from a respectable family– a man her parents have never met. And if that wasn’t upsetting enough, Wednesday confides in her father and begs him not to tell her mother. Now, Gomez Addams must do something he’s never done before– keep a secret from his beloved wife, Morticia. The youngest Addams child and somewhat of a masochist. His sibling dynamic with Wednesday is threatened when she begins dating, and he schemes to try to maintain the Addams status quo, so he takes matters into his own hands. A funny, sweet and sometimes annoying young boy who loves being tortured by his sister. Would really like to cast a boy in this role with an unchanged singing voice. Audition Song - What If
Ancestors of the Addams Family now live on ‘the other side’ but are summoned once a year, from The Addams Family crypt, to come celebrate with the family. These unholy spirits represent the dearly departed from various eras, Living or dead, family is still family. These characters serve as a "Greek Chorus'.
