“Blue” Project Seeking Boys and Girls
Looking for young actors ages 7-9 for “Blue” Project. See the details below. ONLY LOCAL TALENT WILL BE ACCEPTED. About the project: Logline: In order to make her first friend, Anjali, a young 7 yr old girl with a regulatory disorder, must learn that emotions are not good or bad, but it is what you do with them that matters. Rate: Actors will receive gas compensation, meals, and a copy of the film for their reel. Additional info: Filming in the Bucks County area the last week of June, exact dates TBD. The actors should be available for a few rehearsals during the month of June. “Blue” will be 10-12 minutes long. The project will shoot 3 days at the end of June in Bucks County PA. The exact dates are TBD. As the directors are filming with minors, we will be following the minor labor laws in Pennsylvania in sept. When applying, please send a slate of the actor saying their name and age. Extra: (for minors) Have the actor talk about their favorite activity and why they like it. No previous experience is required. Submit Reel and Headshot if applicable.

Active, rugged, emotional. Ankali is a rambunctious, eccentric young girl. She can never sit still, never stop talking, and never follow the rules. She feels every emotion very intensely and has a hard time understanding how she feels. Throughout the story, Anjali learns how to communicate her emotions and how to better understand herself.
This Boy gets in a fight with Anjali, he challenges her to many races and wins all of them, when she gets upset about losing, her gloats his victory.
David is a sweet and energetic young boy. He becomes Anjali’s first friend. He understands Anjali because he too is an outsider who has a hard time making friends.
