About the project: Sheldon Bias a 17-year-old in his last year of high school is trying to get a full scholarship to his favorite college to play basketball. After receiving his letter to see if he has finally made it in with a full ride he realizes he has no one to share the good news with. But he is not without his demons. With his mother strung out on drugs and his father dead and being brought up in a low-income neighborhood he doesn't think a person like him can make it out of the hood and become what everybody thinks he is destined to be. A great college player and then hopefully to the NBA and the first person from his country town to make it. So he goes around to the people he respects the most for guidance, some encouraging and some not. In the end, has he gotten in and what path will he choose? Additional info: Location: Goldsboro, NC.
