Looking for teens ages 17-18 for "The Final Countdown" Film. See the details below. ONLY LOCAL TALENT WILL BE ACCEPTED. About the project: After gaining a timer counting down towards their death, a distraught youth struggles with their morality as they try to find a way to survive. Rate: This is a volunteer project. There will not be any monetary compensation. Food will be provided on set. Gas will be subsidized (if driving). Additional info: Non-Union. SHOOT / PERFORMANCE DATE(S) April 1, 2023, & April 2, 2023. SHOOT / PERFORMANCE LOCATION(S) Vancouver. Additional Information & Safety Protocols: Requirements: - Available Saturday, April 1, 2023, & Sunday, April 2, 2023: Whole day. - Available Wednesday, April 3: Whole day (reshoots) SUBMISSION DEADLINE Wednesday, March 29, 2023. Jackie is a youth who gained the ability to see a timer counting down towards people’s death above their heads. Jackie faces a struggle with their morality as they make a decision about whether or not to cross the line. Note: Guilt, distress, despair, determination.
The Victim is an average, kind-hearted youth. The Victim is attacked by Jackie, struggling to escape from their attack. Note: Fear, determination, bravado.
