About the project: LOGLINE: A deaf vampire must get an unexpected guest out of her hotel room so she can enjoy her long-awaited meal. SYNOPSIS: CLAIRE is getting ready to eat her captured prey JOSH, but before she can enjoy her meal BRAD breaks in trying to escape from someone who is trying to kill him. They fail to communicate with each other and Claire lets in the killer only to find out it's one of her vampire compatriots, LIZ. They bond over their shared vampire struggles but Brad escapes while they are distracted. So Claire and Liz decide to share their well-awaited dinner. (Lead) MUST BE FLUENT IN/OR HAVE A GOOD UNDERSTANDING OF ASL, A jaded and headstrong deaf vampire who is hard of hearing and only signs in ASL (no dialogue, only signing). Confident, seductive vampire, who is excited to eat her meal (Josh), but is annoyed and flustered by Brad's interruption. She doesn’t care for him in the slightest and will do anything to get him to leave. Maybe he’ll become her midnight snack?
(Lead/Supporting). Bubbly, girl next door type that just so happens to be a vampire. She shares a sisterly rapport with Claire and will do anything for her validation. She’s stopping by Claire's room to check up on her and maybe snoop a bit. Knowledge in ASL is preferred but not required.
