"The Rangers" Short Film Looking for Young Actors
"The Rangers" Short Film is looking for actors between the ages of 9 and 15 years old. Please see the details below. ONLY LOCAL TALENT WILL BE ACCEPTED. About the project: Three adventurous teen boys go exploring in the mountains of New Mexico. They venture inside a hidden cave and what happens will change lives forever. Additional info: CURRENTLY CASTING for a non-union short film (8-10 minutes) shooting in / outside of Carlsbad (Queens), New Mexico, in early April 2023. Local talent is a plus but not required. Dates: April 1st - 9th, 2023 (Exact TBD). Time: Day & Night Shoots. Location: Carlsbad (Queens), New Mexico. Acting talent must be open to working the first week of April. Due to outdoor scenery needs, weather and clouds could impact the days of the shoot. Rehearsals are to take place the weekend prior to shooting. Shooting is expected to take place (1 - 2 days) between the 4th and 7th of April. When applying, please send the following: 1. Headshot and Full Body Shot; 2. Resume; 3. Inquisitive likes to have fun, prepared, organized, and always ready for adventure. Loves hiking! Talent must be able to endure hiking distances up to 1.5 miles and moderate climbing required. Must be comfortable in dark spaces and inside a cave.

Buck teeth/braces are a plus but not necessary, or open to wearing custom-fit prosthetics. Talent must be able to endure hiking distances up to 1.5 miles and moderate climbing required. Must be comfortable in dark spaces and inside a cave.
