Kids & Teens Needed for "The Wizard of Oz in the Wild West" Show
A show called "The Wizard of Oz in the Wild West" is in need of children and teenagers of ages 8-17 years old. Additional information is available below. About the project: A spell cast by the wicked witch sends Dorothy, the Cowardly Lion, the Scarecrow, and the Tin Man back through time and into the western frontier of the 1880’s. There they meet Wild Bill Hickock, Buffalo Bill, Annie Oakley, and Billie the Kid who engages in a shootout with the Tin Man. Dorothy and her friends share with the Old West some of the immortal qualities they acquired in Oz; such lessons as courage, intelligence, and heart! Audience interaction is encouraged as they cheer on these classic characters and help them out through all their dilemmas! Additional info: Please note: Parent must be present! Interested volunteers should stop by the auditions. No audition materials needed (materials will be provided by Empire House Players) Novices welcome! The show runs: August 11-13 & August 18-20, 2023 Rehearsals start June 27th. Rehearsals will be Tuesdays and Thursdays 6:30-8:30 pm; and every day the week of the show.
