Casting Kids & Teens for "American Funeral" Short Film

The directors are currently casting for an unpaid short film project and looking for talented individuals who are passionate about acting. See the following information for more details. ONLY LOCAL TALENT WILL BE ACCEPTED. About the project: After the sudden death of her mother a young woman must deal with the business side of dying. She must handle all the final decisions while dealing with this tragic loss. Rate: Please note that this is an unpaid project, but the directors will provide food, transportation, and a copy of the final film for your portfolio. Additional info: FILMING THIS SUMMER. Filming in the Mooresville/Charlotte Area. This will be a dark comedy shot in black and white. A similar vibe as the 2012 film “Frances Ha”. Death is a strong subject matter, but this film deals more with the struggle and absurdity it takes to properly say goodbye to a loved one.
