ONLY LOCAL TALENT WILL BE CONSIDERED. Casting a girl ages 9-13 for a short, thesis film called "Vela". Please, see the details below. About the project: "VELA" is a touching and grounded family drama/thriller that incorporates aspects of magical realism and Mexican folklore. Logline: Xime hopes to restore her family by arranging a day of the dead altar - but first she must face her own looming grief. Rate: Roles are unpaid but transportation and meals will be provided. Additional informaiton: Please note that Spanish language proficiency is required for the role. When applying, please submit reels, headshots & resumes.
