Mahdi Ahmadi

My work explores the contrast between human suffering and the indifference—the silence—of the universe that surrounds it. Within this silence, my characters struggle to extract meaning from experience, to survive, and, at times, simply to continue existing or reproducing life in a world that offers no reassurance. In this sense, place and environment become active forces in my narratives: the world surrounding the protagonist functions as a character in its own right.
