Searching for kids aged 4-12 to voice the main character in an anti-bullying animation.

Casting Lead Voiceover for Anti-Bullying Short Film

A spin on the classic comedy play "Born Yesterday":
Set in the 1950's, Buzz Calhoun is an athletic, arrogant, popular boy in town, and High School football programs are a calling. There's just ONE small problem.

The coach of the High School football team that Buzz is shooting for the most, Sacred Heart, wants their players to have "normal" families and girlfriends, nobody to wild or eccentric, therefore, Buzz's girlfriend, the pretty but ditzy Candy, is endangering him getting accepted.

Buzz therefore secures the services of Lucas, a friendly but nerdy boy in school, to teach Candy how to be more "proper".
But, what happens when Candy starts to realize, as these lessons go on, and her confidence in herself grows, she's just being used?

A kind, smart, friendly kid, but a VERY unpopular boy among his peers. Buzz and his friends especially tease and bully him.
Lucas, at first, is more intrigued with trying to help the rough and tumble Candy to become more "Refined", but he soon starts to realize he has a MASSIVE crush on her.

A combination of "Mob doll" and "Greaser girl". She is a bit ditzy and naive, but not stupid. What she has in beauty she lacks in self-confidence.
As the story progresses, she slowly begins to fall out of love with Buzz and fall *in* love with Lucas.
Think Fran Fine from "The Nanny" or Rizzo from "Grease", a somewhat Brooklyn-esque accent would work best.

Buzz is the quarterback of his Junior Football team. He's athletic, popular, and good looking, but also extremely obnoxious, arrogant, and bullying.
Candy, as his girlfriend, is more there for the visual then for him actually liking her, but he's willing to drop her like a bad habit to get on a particular High School football team.
