Casting Call for "John Bullock" Feature Film
Casting actors for principal, supporting, and day player roles. A psychological thriller/mystery/drama feature film written and directed by Hassan Mageye about a 16-year-old boy, John Bullock, whose developing brain strains his family and the young caregiver Eva who must uncover disturbing truths before she becomes part of the house's history. Shoot dates and locations TBD. This is a paid independent feature film. Compensation varies depending on the role, experience, and number of filming days. SPECIAL INSTRUCTIONS: For consideration, submit a recent headshot, acting résumé, and demo reel where available. Selected applicants will be invited to submit a self-taped audition. When you apply to each role please answer the following questions: 1. Are you available for approximately 10–15 filming days in Northern California, and are you willing to work within an independent film production budget? Yes or No 2. What attracts you to this character, and how would you approach portraying their psychological and emotional complexity? 3. Are you comfortable performing emotionally intense scenes, including extended moments with little or no dialogue, where facial expressions, body language, and silence carry the performance?
