A housekeeper in the Forsythe home who hides her gnarled hands with gloves. Observant, thoughtful, accustomed to taking orders, struggles to find her voice. Not without a spine. Has never owned a pretty dress.
A pretty girl with an ugly secret. Spoiled, boisterous, mean but vulnerable. Hides herself in a closet, hides her pregnancy under a veil of delusion.
An aspiring preacher troubled by his family’s propensity for nastiness. At odds with Asher. Infatuated with Luna. Earnest, pious.
A devourer who satisfies his appetites with little regard for anyone else. Yearns for a closer relationship with LEVI though he’d never admit it outright.
