Description:

Casting "Home Movies," an NYU senior thesis film about Carson, a grieving young man who retreats into memories of growing up with his late best friend, Samuel. The film is a dialogue-light, naturalistic short centered on four longtime male friends at ages 13, 17, and 21, exploring grief, memory, friendship, and the assumption that there will always be more time. Performances rely on chemistry, improvisation, physical play, overlapping conversation, and subtle behavior. This call is for the boys at 13, plus younger Carson and Samuel for a childhood photograph. Audition: in person in NYC, date and location TBD. Callbacks are improvisation-based chemistry reads. Shoot: Friday, October 30 in NYC, within a 10 AM-6 PM window. Pay: flat daily rate ($100; $75 photo only), plus meals, copy and credit. A parent or legal guardian must accompany each minor for the duration of their work. A New York Child Performer Permit is required. Reels welcome but not required.
