About the project: Meredith Willson’s The Music Man follows charming con man Harold Hill as he arrives in River City, Iowa, to sell the townspeople on a boys’ band he has no intention of teaching. But when he meets Marian Paroo, the town’s skeptical librarian, his plans begin to change. Filled with beloved songs, comedy, romance, and heart, this classic musical celebrates community and second chances.
