Additional info: Callbacks: Thursday, October 8 | 6:00–8:00 PM REHEARSALS Rehearsals begin Tuesday, October 13, and will generally be held Monday–Thursday from 6:00–9:00 PM. PERFORMANCES December 4–13, 2026 Please be prepared to list all known rehearsal and performance conflicts when completing the form. Auditions will be scheduled in groups within each 90-minute session. Please select your preferred session and the character(s) you are interested in so the director can organize audition groups in advance. The narrator and our guide through the story. Smart, observant, funny and grounded. A large role requiring strong memorization and storytelling skills.
Tough, bossy and intimidating, but with unexpected heart. Plays Mary. One of the largest youth roles, requiring both strong comedy and emotional depth.
Oldest Herdman boy. Rough, confident and intimidating. Plays Joseph and needs a strong comic presence.
Tough and mischievous. His encounter with Charlie helps bring the Herdmans to church. Plays a Wise Man.
Scrappy, energetic and always ready to join his siblings in causing trouble. Plays a Wise Man.
A younger, mischievous Herdman brother and part of the family pack. Plays a Wise Man.
The youngest Herdman and a tiny force of nature. Loud, fearless, energetic and very funny. Plays the Angel of the Lord. A great role for a bold performer with big stage presence.
Beth's younger brother. Funny and relatable. His bragging about Sunday school treats helps bring the Herdmans to church.
Proper, dramatic and outspoken. Accustomed to playing Mary and very unhappy about Imogene taking her place. Strong comic role.
