About the project: Audition for Macy’s Presents Yes, Virginia The Musical, a joyful, heartwarming holiday musical inspired by the true story behind one of the most famous questions ever asked: “Is there a Santa Claus?” Set in New York City in 1897, the story follows 8-year-old Virginia O’Hanlon as she sets out to discover the truth about Santa Claus. Her search takes her from the library to the streets of New York and ultimately to the offices of The New York Sun, where editor Francis Church pens the now-famous response, “Yes, Virginia, there is a Santa Claus.” Additional info: Rehearsals Thursdays 6-8 and Saturdays 9-12 Performance Dates: December 11-13 If interested, please apply.
