"The Little Mermaid" Show Needs Kids and Teens
Young performers are invited to audition for "The Little Mermaid" Show. Please see the details below. ONLY LOCAL TALENT WILL BE ACCEPTED. Additional info: Please prepare one of the provided excerpts from the link below. Choose a song that corresponds with the role you are interested in or one that best suits your voice. If you are interested in more than one role, please be prepared to sing multiple selections. The accompaniment tracks will be ready for you during your audition. Young children can sing a song from the show or a song of their choice. Songs such as “Row, Row, Row Your Boat” and “Twinkle, Twinkle, Little Star” are acceptable. There will be a cold reading audition. No prior preparations are needed for the acting audition. However, familiarizing yourself with the show and the characters' unique personalities may be helpful during readings. All performers must participate in the dance audition. Directors want to see how your body moves to best showcase your abilities. Please wear comfortable shoes for ease of movement and safety. A disheveled seagull and an expert in human artifacts. Loudmouthed, optimistic, and a bit ignorant, despite his supposed expertise.
Electric eels who are Ursula's lackeys. Oily and spineless, sinister, and sneaky. They are underhanded and devious. Tenor/Baritone
