Seeking Kids for "The Little Mermaid JR." Show

Kids and teens are welcome to audition for "The Little Mermaid JR." Show. Please see the details below. About the project: In a magical underwater kingdom, the beautiful young mermaid, Ariel, longs to leave her ocean home — and her fins — behind and live in the world above. But first, she'll have to defy her father, King Triton, make a deal with the evil sea witch, Ursula, and convince the handsome Prince Eric that she's the girl whose enchanting voice he's been seeking. Additional info: Performers must have turned 8 and be no older than 18 by January 15, 2027, to be eligible. Choose one 1 audition date and come at a time between 4 and 7 p.m. that works for you. Parents should be prepared to complete an audition form upon arrival, providing contact information and the student’s rehearsal availability. Students will prepare a short song or part of a song (1 minute or less, please). An accompanist is NOT provided. Students should bring a karaoke track or pre-recorded accompaniment and will connect to the speaker via Bluetooth; CD playback will not be available. The student may also choose to bring their own accompanist; a piano will be provided. Rehearsals will begin in early November. More information will be provided at the time of the audition. Invited callbacks will take place on the evening of Monday, October 19; students will find out no later than Friday, October 16, if they have been offered a callback. A mandatory meeting will be held for all cast students and their parents on the evening of Mon., Oct. 26. If interested, please apply.
