About the project: Set in mid-century New York City and the North Pole, The Santa Switch centers on Santa and Mrs. Claus as they consider retiring from the holiday grind after a century of service. But retirement becomes much more complicated when the magical Sleigh Bells choose Jack Chase, a cynical young New York advertising executive, as Santa's successor—and Jack flatly refuses the job. His rejection puts the North Pole into crisis and threatens the future of Christmas itself. As Mrs. Claus steps forward to take charge, an idealistic young artist, a warmhearted children's charity worker, and a very determined group of elves become part of a chaotic, funny, and touching journey about discovering purpose, believing in something bigger than yourself, and finding where you truly belong.
