Teen Drumline Performers Needed for "Snowflake Lane" Parade

Audition for "Snowflake Lane" Parade. Please note: performers must be at least 14 years old by November 1, 2026. Please see the details below. ONLY LOCAL TALENT WILL BE ACCEPTED. Rate: Performers are paid a minimum of $40 per show and rehearsal, with the opportunity for bonuses. Additional info: Snowflake Lane is an annual outdoor holiday parade that takes place in Bellevue, WA. The show runs nightly at 7-7:30 pm (call time 5:30 pm) from Black Friday (11/27) through Christmas Eve (12/24) for a total of 28 performances. AUDITION RULES: • Masks are to be worn over the nose and mouth at all times. • Phones and other devices must be silenced and put away. • No phone use of any kind is allowed during the audition process. • Absolutely no photos or videos inside the audition space. • No spectators allowed during auditions. • No food, drinks, or gum in the audition space (water OK). WHAT TO PREPARE: • Drumline auditionees should learn the Prepared Audition Piece, which can be found in the attachemnts. • There is both sheet music and a rehearsal track for the Prepared Piece. • Auditionees should learn the part for their preferred instrument. • Anyone interested in Tenors should learn the Snare line. • Music does not have to be perfectly memorized, but auditionees should be familiar with it and ready to perform to the best of their abilities at auditions. • Practice SMILING while you play! WHAT TO BRING: • Mask (surgical or better) • Water in a container that has a lid • OPTIONAL: drumsticks and practice pad (We will provide sticks/mallets if you do not have your own.) WHAT TO WEAR: • Come dressed to move AND to impress! • Fitted clothes are preferred. • All undergarments should be covered; no exposed bras or sagging pants. • No bare feet, flip-flops, slides, or other shoes you cannot safely move in. • STILTS: Anyone interested in trying on Stilts must wear fitted long pants/leggings and secure, soft-soled shoes or boots (no heels). • No dangling jewelry (earrings, bracelets, necklaces, etc.). • Hair should be worn out of the face.
