"Christmas Radio Hour: Live from the North Pole" takes audiences behind the scenes of Santa's legendary broadcast, where elves, kids, technicians, and Santa himself come together to bring Christmas music and holiday cheer to families everywhere. Additional info: Everyone should be prepared to: - Sing: come prepared to sing a short section of a Christmas song. - Read: You may be asked to read a scene from the show. - Improvise: Some performers may be given a short radio-host, caller, or comedy situation. Vocal: Strong singer; confident speaking voice Holly is the radio host and face of the Christmas Radio Hour. She is energetic, funny, warm, and determined to keep the broadcast going even when everything begins falling apart.
Vocal: Flexible Jax is the station's sound technician and resident troublemaker. He is quick-witted, sarcastic, and constantly dealing with equipment that doesn't cooperate. He's one of the show's major sources of comedy.
Vocal: Strong, emotional singer Noelle is one of the emotional centers of the show. She loves Christmas but quietly struggles with feeling like she doesn't really belong.
Vocal: Strong singer preferred Max is the station manager. He is organized, intelligent and responsible—but he's also frustrated. For years, Max has worked behind the scenes while everyone else gets the recognition. When the Christmas Spirit Signal begins failing, his frustration turns into something much darker.
The elves are NOT simply background characters. They are the people who make the North Pole function.
These characters appear as children and teenagers calling into the North Pole Radio Hour.
