"Elf Jr" the Musical Looking For Kids and Teens

About the project: Buddy, a young orphan, mistakenly crawls into Santa's bag of gifts and is transported to the North Pole. The would-be elf is raised, unaware that he is actually a human until his enormous size and poor toy-making abilities cause him to face the truth. With Santa's permission, Buddy embarks on a journey to New York City to find his birth father and discover his true identity. Faced with the harsh realities that his father is on the naughty list and his half-brother doesn't even believe in Santa, Buddy is determined to win over his new family and help New York remember the true meaning of Christmas. Additional info: All students must prepare a 1 minute (16 bar) cut of a song to sing. Recorded music only. No acapella. Grades 3 - 12 only must also prepare a 45 second or less memorized monologue of their choosing All students will have a 30 minute choreography audition as well so wear/bring shoes for dancing. Choreo audition times on Friday: 6:30 - 7:00 for K - 2; 7:45 - 8:15 for 3 -12​ Choreo audition times on Saturday: 11:30 - 12:00 for K-2; 12:45 - 1:15 for 3-12 Monologue and song choices should be in a similar sytle to the character/role they are auditioning for. Each student must sign up for an audition block during one of the available audition dates. Students may be asked to attend call backs from 2:00 - 4:00 PM on Saturday, October 4th. This show may have cuts based on the number of students that audition. Rehearsal Days: Primarily Mondays, Fridays, and Saturdays. Due to scheduling rehearsals around Holidays, there will be an occasional Tuesday, Wednesday, or Thursday thrown in as needed but we will cover that at the first rehearsal. ​Show Dates: December 11 - December 13, 2026 Tech Week: December 6 - 10, 2026 (no absences permitted) Show Location: TBD Please note that the fee applies.
