Young Talent Wanted For "Shrek" the Musical

ONLY LOCAL TALENT WILL BE CONSIDERED. Seeking young talent for "Shrek" the musical. See the details below. About the project: A benign green ogre and his sidekick Donkey save the land from an evil lord and rescue a lovely princess from a terrible fate. Based on the blockbuster movie and the book by William Steig. Additional info: Young actors auditioning for Young Fiona should sing measures 16–44 of “I Know It’s Today,” beginning at “But in the end, Rapunzel finds a millionaire.” Young actors auditioning for Young Shrek should sing measures 23–30 of “Story of My Life.” Please choose the lower octave if needed. Young actors do not need to prepare a dance audition. Please note that directors will not consider anyone over 4 feet 11 inches in height for the roles of Young Shrek and Young Fiona. Callbacks will be held in-person and are scheduled for Saturday, October 17, 2026, and will be by invitation only. Rehearsals & Performances - Rehearsals will begin on or around February 8, 2027.
