Seeking Teen Talent for "Almost Famous" Workshop Scene
Casting actors ages 17 and up for the workshop scene from the movie "Almost Famous". Please see the details below. ONLY LOCAL TALENT WILL BE ACCEPTED. About the project: A high school boy in the early 1970s is given the chance to write a Rolling Stone story about an up-and-coming rock band as he accompanies them on their concert tour. Additional info: The scene will not be filmed; however, actors are required to show up at the University of Texas at Austin on October 5th from 2 - 5 pm and attend 2-3 rehearsals between September 19th and October 3rd. Callback decisions sent out on the 18th. When applying, please email audition sides, headshots, and resumes. The director is willing to accept JPGs via email. Send a self-tape by September 17th.
