Casting Boys and Girls for "The Prom"

Audition for "The Prom". Auditions are open to all children ages 10-18. Please see the details below. ONLY LOCAL TALENT WILL BE ACCEPTED. About the project: Four eccentric Broadway stars are in desperate need of a new stage. So when they hear that trouble is brewing around a small-town prom, they know that it’s time to put a spotlight on the issue… and themselves. The town’s parents want to keep the high school dance on the straight and narrow—but when one student just wants to bring her girlfriend to prom, the entire town has a date with destiny. On a mission to make a difference, the Broadway stars team up with the courageous student, leading to a transformation that brings everyone together in the name of love and acceptance. Additional info: Rehearsals begin Thursday, September 24– Rehearsal schedule will be Monday & Thursday evenings 6:30 – 9:00 pm, Saturdays 1:00- 5:00 pm, Sundays 6:00 – 8:00 pm. It is expected that this production will be your first priority after schoolwork. You are expected to attend all rehearsals for which you are called and to be on time. Tech Week and Performances are mandatory. No Exceptions.
