"Gypsy ​A Musical Fable" Seeks Teenagers

Audition for "Gypsy: A Musical Fable" for performers in grade 9 and up. Please see the details below. ONLY LOCAL TALENT WILL BE ACCEPTED. Additional info: PERFORMANCES: Friday, January 15th, at 7:30pm Saturday, January 16th, at 2:00pm Saturday, January 16th, at 7:30pm ​Sunday, January 17th, at 2:00pm ​Sunday, January 17th, at 7:30pm REHEARSALS: Rehearsals will be held at our studio in Madison, NJ, on Sundays between 4 pm and 9 pm. Not all cast members will be called to every rehearsal. Rehearsals will begin the week of September 21st. If needed, callbacks will be held the week of September 21st at the convenience of cast members. All performers will also be required to attend mandatory technical rehearsals the week leading up to the show. These times are subject to change. Sunday, January 10th, 4 pm-9 pm Monday, January 11th, 4 pm-9 pm ​Tuesday, January 12th, 4 pm-9 pm Wednesday, January 13th, 4 pm-9 pm Thursday, January 14th, 4 pm-9 pm Filming Your Audition Film LANDSCAPE (horizontally). Use two devices to film - one to play your backing karaoke track and one to film with. Wear a formal outfit and look your best. Try to avoid crazy patterned clothes or looking disheveled. This may be our first impression of you! Use a plain background with no distractions. Introduce yourself with your full name, your age/grade, and what song you will be singing. Film your song a few times and find the take you are happiest with! Don't worry... There will be bloopers. Upload your final take to YouTube as an unlisted or public link - then take your link and paste it into the box in the audition form! Please note that the fee applies. If interested, please apply.
