Boys and Girls Wanted for "Disney's High School Musical"

Seeking young performers for "Disney's High School Musical." Details are provided below. About the project: It’s the first day after winter break at East High. The Jocks, Brainiacs, Thespians and Skater Dudes find their cliques, recount their vacations and look forward to the new year. Basketball team captain and resident jock, Troy, discovers that the brainy Gabriella, a girl he met singing karaoke on his ski trip, has just enrolled at East High. They cause an upheaval when they decide to audition for the high school musical that is being led by Ms. Darbus. Although many students resent the threat posed to the “status quo,” Troy and Gabriella’s alliance might just open the door for others to shine as well. Additional info: You only need to attend one night of auditions. Those auditioning are asked to arrive early and are expected to stay until the end. - Please be prepared to sing 16-24 bars (30 seconds-1 minute) of music that showcases your voice. A Bluetooth speaker will be available for audio tracks from YouTube or an MP3. Please no a cappella singing. - Please wear appropriate clothing and footwear for choreography. - Please have a list of any conflicts (including after-school and weekend commitments). REHEARSALS: Rehearsals will be held in October, November, and December, with time off for holidays.
