About the project: The musical begins as the bells of Notre Dame sound through the famed cathedral in fifteenth-century Paris. Quasimodo, the deformed bell-ringer who longs to be "Out There," observes all of Paris reveling in the Feast of Fools. Held captive by his devious caretaker, the archdeacon Dom Claude Frollo, he escapes for the day and joins the boisterous crowd, only to be treated cruelly by all but the beautiful Romani woman, Esmeralda. Quasimodo isn’t the only one captivated by her free spirit, though – the handsome Captain Phoebus and Frollo are equally enthralled. As the three vie for her attention, Frollo embarks on a mission to destroy the Roma – and it’s up to Quasimodo to save them all. Additional info: Auditions will consist of 3 components: readings from the script, a 30-second a cappella song of the actor’s choice that best showcases your voice in the style of the show, and a short movement sequence. The movement sequence will be taught during auditions. Please arrive rested, hydrated, and dressed to move. Please bring your own water. Rehearsals will be held Monday through Thursday from 6:30 PM to 9:30 PM, beginning on 10/12/26 and ending on 11/26/26. There will be some weekend rehearsals, with times and dates to be determined based on actors’ availability. Tech rehearsals will be held 11/30/26 through 12/03/26, with extended hours from 6 PM to 10:30 PM. PERFORMANCES Performances will be on 12/4, 12/5, 12/11, 12/12, 12/17, 12/18, and 12/19 at 7:30 PM, and Sunday matinees on 12/06, 12/13, and 12/20 at 2 PM. If you are interested please apply.
