Singing Audition for "Little Women" Play

Additional info: Callbacks will be held on: Saturday, October 25, 2026, from 12:30 am – 4:30 pm – Location TBA Audition Requirements: Please prepare two selections: A cut (2 minutes or less) of a ballad from a traditional or contemporary musical that showcases your lyrical singing. A cut (2 minutes or less) of a ballad or up-tempo song from a contemporary musical that showcases your belt singing. Both cuts should be memorized, and you should bring sheet music appropriately marked for the pianist and in the key you wish to sing them. Depending on time, the directors may hear one or both of your pieces. The directors are not requesting a monologue, but they definitely want to see your acting through your songs. Rehearsals will take place mainly in the Denver Metro area and in Evergreen from December 13-19, 2026 as well as January 4 – February 25, 2027 on Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday evenings 7:00 – 10:00 pm and Saturday mornings (10:00 am – 1:00 pm) and afternoons (2:00 pm-5:00 pm). Tech will take Saturday, February 13th (9:00 am – 5:00 pm with a lunch break) and February 15th – 18th with calls from 5:00 pm – 11:00 pm on weeknights. Previews will be February 19- 24, 2027. (These will be split between the casts) Show run is February 26 – March 14, 2027, with a possible extension of March 19-21, 2027.
