"Elf" The Musical Seeking Kids and Teens

Casting kids and teens for "Elf" The Musical. More information can be found below. ONLY LOCAL TALENT WILL BE ACCEPTED. About the project: Based on the cherished 2003 New Line Cinema hit, Elf features songs by Tony Award nominees Matthew Sklar (The Prom, The Wedding Singer) and Chad Beguelin (Disney's Aladdin on Broadway), with a book by Tony Award winners, Thomas Meehan (Annie, The Producers, Hairspray) and Bob Martin (The Drowsy Chaperone). Buddy, a young orphan, mistakenly crawls into Santa's bag of gifts and is transported to the North Pole. The would-be elf is raised, unaware that he is actually a human until his enormous size and poor toy-making abilities cause him to face the truth. With Santa's permission, Buddy embarks on a journey to New York City to find his birth father and discover his true identity. Faced with the harsh realities that his father is on the naughty list and his half-brother doesn't even believe in Santa, Buddy is determined to win over his new family and help New York remember the true meaning of Christmas. Additional info: Performance Dates December 17 @7PM (Thursday) December 18 @7PM (Friday) December 19 @1PM (Saturday) December 19 @7PM (Saturday) December 20 @2PM (Sunday) Rehearsal Dates November 2nd – December 10th, 2026 Monday – Friday 6:30pm – 9pm **Please note there may be some Saturday rehearsals. Please place all known conflicts on your registration, including Saturdays. Also, not all cast members will be called for all rehearsals. Tech Week December 11: 5:30pm-9:00pm December 13th: TBA December 14th: 5:30pm-9pm December 15th: 5:30pm-9pm December 16th: 5:30pm-9pm No conflicts will be allowed during tech week. CALLBACKS October 12: 5:00 pm – 9:00 pm Please come to the audition prepared with a song of your choosing. The directors strongly encourage you to choose a song from a show other than Elf. The directors will have an accompanist available to you at auditions. If you do not have a song prepared, you are welcome to sing "Happy Birthday," followed by a vocal range check with the musical director. Finally, please dress in comfortable clothes and be prepared for movement. If you are interested, please apply.
