Seeking kids and teens for "A Christmas Carol" Musical. Please see the details below. Additional info: Please prepare 32 bars of any song that showcases both your vocal range and your ability to act through song. Your selection does not need to be from A Christmas Carol. Please bring sheet music in the correct key with your 32-bar cut clearly marked. An accompanist will be provided. Directors want to hear you sing, but just as importantly, they want to see you tell a story! Additional readings and/or movement may be requested during the audition process. Silent, mysterious, and frightening. This role communicates primarily through movement, physical storytelling, and presence. Particularly suited to a strong physical actor or mover.
The youngest Cratchit child. Gentle, loving, optimistic, and full of hope. Requires a young performer with natural sincerity, confidence onstage, and the ability to sing.
Young performers will play an important part in creating the families, streets, celebrations, and spirit of Dickens’ London. Looking for children who enjoy performing, can take direction, and are comfortable singing and moving onstage. Previous theatre experience is welcome but not required.
