Kid Audition For Singing in "Seussical Jr."

Young singers needed for "Seussical Jr." See more information below. ONLY LOCAL TALENT WILL BE ACCEPTED. About the project: Seussical Jr. is a lively story that brings together many of the characters from the world of Dr. Seuss. The musical follows Horton the Elephant, who discovers a tiny world called Whoville living on a speck of dust. Determined to protect the Whos, Horton faces ridicule and danger but never gives up on keeping his promise. Other characters include The Cat in the Hat, the playful narrator who guides the audience through the story; Jojo, the imaginative son of the Mayor of Whoville; Gertrude McFuzz, a bird who cares deeply for Horton; Mayzie La Bird, who leaves Horton to care for her egg; and The Sour Kangaroo, who doubts Horton and tries to convince others that Whoville does not exist. Through its colorful adventures, Seussical celebrates friendship, imagination, loyalty, and the importance of believing in others—even when no one else does.
